REFBIO II is a trans-Pyrenean cooperation network for biomedical research co-financed by the European program POCTEFA 2014-2020. This network seeks to connect laboratories, technology platforms and companies to establish relationships that enable innovation in the biomedical sector.
The present Workshop, organized by Basque Government's Ministry for Health and the Basque Foundation for Health Innovation and Research (BIOEF), gathers experts in Intellectual Property Rights, Technology Transfer, Innovation Agents, researchers and Third Parties, with the aim to analyze the interaction between these elements and allow the technology transfer in the health sector.
A plenary session, led by Aleksandra Suwala, will bring together researchers and companies to explore cutting edge thinking and inquiry in effective ways to apply the intellectual property rights (IPR) and technological transfer (TT) to the development of medical devices. Furthermore, the speaker will focus on key points of the European project writing from the perspective of IPR and TT, an approach of how to consider these strategic subjects in your application forms.
